A Natural Stretch of the Alaçam Coast
Geyikkoşan Beach lies about 2 km from Alaçam's town center on the Black Sea coast. A grove of plane, poplar and pine trees meets a fine sandy shore, creating a cool, shaded spot to relax.
Hıdırellez Tradition
Every year on May 6th (Hıdırellez), Geyikkoşan hosts traditional oil-wrestling competitions drawing wrestlers from across Turkey, a custom rooted in a centuries-old local legend about a figure known as Geyik Baba.
For Visitors
The grove along the shore is suited for picnics and beachside walks. With accommodation nearby, visitors can spend the day exploring Alaçam's long sandy coastline until sunset.
