Ayvacık's Hidden Waterfall
Yeşilpınar Waterfall lies within the boundaries of Yeşilpınar village in Ayvacık district, about 15 kilometers from the town center. Set in a rocky valley, the waterfall drops roughly 50 meters, making it one of the area's most striking natural sights.
On Foot Only
Vehicles cannot reach the waterfall directly. Visitors drive to the village and then follow a roughly 1.5-kilometer tree-lined trail along the streambed, a walk of about half an hour, to reach the falls.
Natural Surroundings
The trail is accompanied by dense forest cover and the sound of the stream, offering a peaceful escape from urban noise. The area hosts annual "oxygen nature walks" leading to the waterfall.
Visitor Information
Entry to the waterfall is free. Given the rocky, damp terrain of the trail, sturdy footwear and careful walking are recommended, and going with an experienced guide is advised.
