Overview
The Kabaceviz Waterfalls lie within the village of Kabaceviz in Samsun's Çarşamba district, about 16 kilometers from the district center. The waterfall drops in three separate stages through a canyon covered in dense greenery, making it one of the most striking natural sights in the region. The total drop reaches roughly 60 meters.
Nature and Scenery
Thick forest cover and steep rock faces surround the falls, drawing both photographers and hikers. The water cascading step by step down the rock is especially impressive in spring and summer, when flow is at its strongest.
Visitor Information
The area is suited to mountaineering, trekking and nature photography, and there are spots nearby for picnicking. Access is via forest roads, so sturdy footwear and careful driving are advised. The best time to visit is between May and October, when water flow is abundant and the roads are open.
