Overview
Aktaş Plateau is a highland area around the village of Aktaş in Samsun's Ladik district, about 9 kilometers from the district center. Sitting at roughly 950 meters above sea level, the plateau lies along the Ladik-Taşova road.

The paved road leading to the plateau allows easy access by car or caravan. This accessibility has made the area a popular spot for both tent and caravan camping. Local residents also use the plateau as a picnic area. Walking trails within the plateau offer hiking accompanied by panoramic views of Lake Ladik, and the area is especially favored for photography at sunrise and sunset.
Access and Surroundings
Reached via the village of Aktaş, the plateau's proximity to Lake Ladik makes it easy to add to the same route as a lake visit. Especially popular with families on weekends, it offers a quiet stop surrounded by nature.
