Karacaören Waterfall lies within the boundaries of Karacaören village in Samsun's Salıpazarı district, set inside a densely forested valley. The waterfall drops roughly 92 meters down a rocky slope, making it one of the most striking natural sights in the area.

Appearance and Natural Setting

Rather than a single drop, the waterfall forms a series of cascading tiers flowing over the rock face, fed by snowmelt and rainfall that make it especially full in spring. The surrounding damp forest cover gives the trail leading to the falls a cool, green atmosphere.

Karacaören village is about 11 kilometers from Salıpazarı's town center. From the village, a short walk leads to the waterfall, a route popular with hikers and photographers alike.
