Location and Nature
Vezirsuyu Nature Park is located about 23 kilometers from the center of Vezirköprü district, on the shore of the Altınkaya Dam reservoir. Where blue meets green, the area combines forested slopes of red pine, cedar and black pine with sweeping lake views, and it lies close to Şahinkaya Canyon.
Protection Status
The area was declared a nature park in 2011. Under this protected status, the park aims to preserve its natural cover while offering visitors a controlled nature experience.
Facilities and Activities
The park offers walking trails, a children's playground, picnic tables, shelters, fountains and parking, along with a mosque and a snack bar. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, nature walks, cycling, photography, and plant and wildlife observation. The lakeshore is also popular for amateur fishing.
